This is a broad-shouldered, peppery Californian Cab Sauv. It's a young wine, and would be great if layed down for a few years. If you're opening it straight away, we'd recommend letting it breathe or using an aerator to soften the edges.
Enjoyed with steak, garlic mashed potatoes & corn on the cob (personally) but I'm sure any big red BBQ meat would stand up equally.
